“Learning by Doing” is the core of NAG’s Online Learning Platform. We believe Math is not a Spectator Sport and is best understood by doing it. This way, children learn Math concepts in a way they will never forget.
We believe in power of Learning through Practicing
We have put together a complete platform where children explore concepts using video lectures, e-books etc. We engage students in the session and get the students to visualize the concepts. This can then be followed by children practicing from home or elsewhere using any device using our cloud based platform.
NAG has been designed in a way that it can also be used as a home learning Math Programme where children can access from huge repository of well aligned Worksheets, Test papers and solved problems to learn and develop clear mathematical concepts . We provide lots of practice to build procedural fluency and skills for acquiring competence in domain areas.
We don’t believe in marks, we believe in the concept building and confidence for maths that we can grow in the students.
Our initial reason of entering the Online Education Industry is a selfish one.
In next 20 years, we’ll wake up in a world operated by the children today. We want to make sure that we will be in good hands. We want to be taken care of by a generation of innovators and problem-solvers, who can think critically and creatively.
Education is the insurance policy for our future
Today’s biggest challenges such as pollution, global warming and traffic gridlock are all created by people. We believe they will need to be resolved by people too. If not today, it has to be solved in some not-too-distant future by the generations to come.
From this perspective, our education system is the single most important invention ever created. We need the education system not only to impart knowledge from one generation to the next, but also to groom future talents who can solve problems that our generation cannot or have not solved.
We need to groom the next generation of Bill Gates,Steve Jobs, Elon Musk, Mark Zuckerberg and the future innovators and leaders who are able to solve complex problems in our societies.
However, there is a big disparity between this aspiration of education and our everyday reality.
Due to our relentless emphasis on competition and thus test results, we seemed to have lost our perspectives of education. Our spirit of nurturing future problem-solvers seemed to have diminished over time. For instance, it’s common to see the word choice of “studying” and “schooling”, instead of “problem-solving”, to represent our focus in education.
Our vision is to change that. We want to bring back the spirit of problem-solving to our children. We want to equip them with problem-solving skills that prepare them for real world problems that they may encounter in their everyday lives.
We want to nurture lifelong learners who are empowered to constantly acquire new skills and knowledge. We believe that eventually, our children can impact the community at large, in ways beyond our imagination.
Many of us can excel in other areas of life, yet still feel inadequate or embarrassed when it comes to maths. But does it have to be the same for our children? There’s no doubt that a firm grasp of maths is an increasingly important requirement for your child’s success in today’s world. It widens career choices and builds self-esteem.
Students can lose confidence, lose heart and interest, as they continue through their school years. Indeed, generations of students have struggled in vain to conquer maths.
The NAG’s program was created to give students the opportunity to watch, listen and re-do maths lessons again, to practice and practice as many times as needed. NAG’s allows the student to learn and clear their doubts from us with the powerful help of sight and sound – a super effective combination where improvement is guaranteed.
